Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cartwheel entered San Diego Humane Society - Gaines as a stray, and when she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on July 15th. She is around 7 years old and weighs 14.4 lbs. Cartwheel loves to play fetch, and has a fun and friendly personality!
Cartwheel went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she is like in a home.
Her Fling Mom let us know that Cartwheel is a sweet companion who loves getting pets and belly rubs. She enjoys any type of walking and has lots of pep in her step! She had fun on their trips to the beach, preferring to walk on the shoreline instead of going in the ocean. Cartwheel is very treat motivated, and her Fling Mom taught her to go potty in a designated spot in the backyard. What a smart cookie!
Fortunately, her Fling Mom noticed when Cartwheel began acting very anxious, walking around panting and going under beds and couches, combined with digging on just about everything she could find. Diagnostics at FFF Veterinary Hospital revealed that Cartwheel was pregnant, and she gave birth to two healthy puppies on August 7th.
We're happy to report that Mom and babies are doing great. Cartwheel has been taking amazing care of the puppies. As you can see in the video, they have grown!
