Bessie is an 8 month old hound mix weighing 40 lb. She is super sweet, but can take a little time to warm up to new people, but has never shown any aggression, just initially nervous. Bessie is both dog and kid friendly and loves to meet new canine friends! She has not been cat tested.
Bessie is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and spayed. She is the whole package wrapped up in a beautiful, slender hound body with the cutest floppy ears.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
