My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Courage: The Sweetest Cuddlebug with a Heart of Gold

Name: Courage
Breed: Gentle Pittie
Age: Young and Tender-Hearted
Personality: Sweet and Demure
Favorite Activity: Cuddling and Lounging with Friends
Cuddle Preferences: All the Snuggles, Anytime
Dog-Friendly: Loves Other Dogs!
Cat-Friendly: A Little Too Interested in Cats
Kid-Friendly: Great with Kids
Best Trait: His Gentle Soul and Calm Nature

Story:
Courage is a beautiful pittie who embodies the essence of love and gentleness. When he was first rescued from the shelter, he was scared, timid, and unsure of the world. But with time and care, Courage blossomed into the sweet, snuggly pup he was always meant to be. His once-nervous nature gave way to the softest, most loving personality, making him the ultimate cuddlebug.

Courage absolutely adores the company of other dogs, finding joy and comfort in their presence. He's calm, serene, and content just being near his human and doggy friends. His love language is cuddling, and he thrives on affection, always ready to curl up beside you for a nap or snuggle. Cats, however, spark a bit too much curiosity in Courage, so a cat-free home is best for this lovable boy.

This sweet boy's transformation is a testament to his strength and gentle spirit. Courage's heart is as big as his name suggests, and he's ready to be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm, loving, and loyal friend. If you're seeking a pup who's all about the love, Courage is your guy!

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
