My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopt Ruth!🐾 (Bonded with Curly)

Meet Ruth, a gentle and sweet little kitten who is sure to steal your heart with her tiny, adorable squeaky meow. 🥺 Ruth has a soft, loving nature and adores being petted. Her purrs are like a soothing melody, and she’s happiest when she’s close to her favorite humans. She's especially fond of her brother, Curly, and they do everything together, from chasing each other around the house or snuggling up for a nap, these two are the best of friends. 🐾

One of Ruth’s favorite spots is the top of her cat tree, where she can soak up the warm sunlight and observe the world from her little perch. She’s fascinated by the simple things in life, like watching water droplets in the sink—it’s her version of a mini water show! 💧

** Ruth MUST be adopted with her brother Curly. She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She requires a patient family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

She does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. Ruth also does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.

Ruth’s gentle, curious nature makes her a delightful companion. She’s the perfect mix of playful and calm, always ready for an adventure with Curly or a quiet moment by your side. If you’re looking for a kitten who will bring warmth, affection, and a little bit of sunshine into your life, Ruth is the one for you. She’s ready to fill your home with love and joy, and she can’t wait to meet her forever family. ☀️💕

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
