My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Point Guard!

Point Guard came to us from San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside on July 15th. He is 13 years old, weighs 11.75 lbs., and is a complete sweetheart!

A volunteer took Point Guard on a special outing to a cafe and a park, where they met up with other volunteers and dogs. After their time together, she shared:

"Point Guard is ready to be everyone's new best friend. He is supposedly 13 years old, but he has young guy energy. He hadn't met me before today and he didn't care, he was ready for any adventure that I planned.Point Guard loved getting a pup cup and inhaled it in record time. He is a smart cookie and sat on the third treat and sat each time after that. What a good boy!

Point Guard did great at the park and loved climbing onto everyone's laps for scratches. He has a little hitch in his trot on the back left but it doesn't slow him down at all! I bet he would love to go on walks with his forever family.

Point Guard is a fun little guy and would probably love an active family to take him out for adventures. He also loves to lay in your lap, so I bet he would love snuggles on the couch, too!"

Point Guard recently went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom shares:

"Point Guard is a sweet little guy who just wants a little attention. He is definitely a foodie and will kindly try and help anyone finish their meal. He's definitely treat motivated and will sit when asked. He's a fast learner, too! Point Guard taught himself to go under both magnetic screens when he needs to go potty.

Point Guard sleeps great at night. He loves his naps and will sleep just about anywhere soft. He is house-trained and had no accidents. He loves running around the yard. He is a great, very chill walker that doesn't bark at other people or dogs on our walks. He loves being outside. Point Guard is a cool little guy who loves his belly rubs."

After returning from his fling, Point Guard represented FFF at a community pet adoption event, and he was a rock star! He wanted to meet all the people and become friends with everyone, kids and adults! Point Guard rode quietly in the car on the way there and back, and he did great with all the other dogs at the event.

Point Guard is a sweet and friendly boy and loves people. He would make a wonderful companion whether you want to hang out and watch movies or to go on long walks. And you can take him with you anywhere and have fun!

Stop by to meet Point Guard between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Your new best buddy is waiting for you!
