My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milton, a beautiful and very special two-year-old cat who can’t wait to find his forever family! Until then, he is looking for a foster home where he can thrive in an ideal environment while awaiting his forever home.

Currently residing with his rescuer, Milton was taken off the streets in a very poor condition. From day one, he has shown nothing but love, showering everyone with affection and soft purrs. His wonderfully warm personality stole everyone’s heart.

Milton truly loves people and wants to be in their company. He shows affection with head bumps, rubbing against legs, and following you around the house, devotedly seeking your approval. However, at his current residence, there are a few other cats and a dog, and recently, Milton has shown signs of depression, stress and sadness. We believe this is due to the presence of other animals, as Milton has seen a tough life of the streets and has been through a great hardship and now is extremely afraid of dogs and other cats.

Milton needs to be the only animal in the house. He is also FIV positive, which is another reason to keep him as the only pet. If you are looking for a wonderful single cat who is loving and affectionate, Milton would be the perfect choice. He is super sweet and craves human interaction. He wants to show his new family how happy he is to be in their company, curling up with them on the couch, keeping them company in the kitchen, and following them around everywhere.

Milton is a very neat kitty, keeping his litter box and food station immaculate. He is humble and respectful of the property, never leaving a mess or knocking things down. He is a quiet, laid-back fellow who enjoys napping on warm windowsills and watching birds fly by. He loves to play with toys, especially little mice, and never refuses a dash of catnip if kindly offered.

Milton is fully vetted, including being neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is FeLV negative, a healthy boy who doesn’t have any medical conditions and doesn’t require any medication except Human Love!

If you have a home with no other animals and are looking for a loving and affectionate companion – Milton is the perfect choice. He will be forever grateful for your kindness and give you an abundance of happy days and will love you unconditionally!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to help control the homeless cat population in and around the borough of Norristown by Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and foster/adoption with the ultimate goal of keeping their numbers, and subsequently, their suffering, to a minimum. We use local low cost spay and neuter clinics and work with other rescue groups to place as many friendly cats as possible into forever homes. We bring sick and injured cats in off the street for medical care and recovery. We know we can make a difference, one cat at a time.
