We don’t say a dog is perfect very often but we have to make an exception for Molly Ann. Sweet, smart, and silly are the three words repeatedly used to describe Molly. Emphasis on SWEET. If you ask anyone who has met Molly that is one of the first words they will say followed by she’s an angel and she’s a princess. I personally have never met a sweeter, more gentle love muffin dog before. Molly is an absolute love bug, through and through. She knows no stranger and will melt in your arms for hugs. Molly is a hugger and will try to hug everyone that she meets.
Watch her video and see why we love her so much: https://youtu.be/gQXFY_iANso
Molly is a petite thing at 45 lbs and knee high, she doesn't need or demand much space and could even be a great apartment dog as long as she gets her daily walks. We believe Molly is a pittie mix approximately 4 years old. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We can guarantee that Molly is as loving as we are describing her to be. She is loved everywhere she goes. Molly’s foster family raves about her as well. Her foster family has shared that Molly has never had an accident and responds perfectly to the "outside potty" command. She's also great in her crate, often going in unprompted and staying quiet throughout the night or when left alone. Her super-chewer tendencies are well-managed with appropriate toys, and she leaves kid toys and furniture untouched. Sounds a lot like she is preloaded with the deluxe package of awesome add-ons! They also gush over how smart Molly is! Attentive and treat motivated she has already mastered basic commands including sit and down. The real praise is over her recall ability! The exact quote was “Her recall is impressive!” Basically, she knows her name well and will come running when called, even when she's on a long leash exploring her surroundings. She's also fantastic with boundaries, staying out of bedrooms as shown and happily lounging nearby instead. Molly's quiet nature is another of her many charms. She rarely barks, making her a great fit for someone who prefers a calm, quiet home environment. Plus, she's a model citizen during car rides and overnight stays! She recently joined her foster family on her first road trip, hotel stays included, and she got A+ grades across the board!
Her foster family also shared how wonderful she is with their kids. She is patient and incredibly tolerant, but most notably she isn’t over focused on them when they are bouncing around or engaged in an activity. She’ll join in for a game of fetch if invited but isn’t going to chase down a ball being used for backyard soccer drills. She has also met many of the 3LP staff’s children all varying in ages and she is so loving, sweet, and gentle towards them. It's probably no surprise that Molly is friendly to everyone- no stranger danger here. If you’re a family that likes to entertain, have backyard bar-b-ques and neighborhood get-togethers, Molly is the perfect addition. Just means more people to love and give her famous hugs to. Molly is a perfect doggy citizen out in public too. She does get a little excited when she sees other dogs that she wants to go meet and she likes to give hugs to strangers but she is very easy to give a correction to. She’s recently went on a doggy date to the run club here in Houston where there are hundreds of people there, loud noises, and a lot of stimulation and Molly thought all of those people were there just to see her. She loved meeting everyone, loved all of the attention, and showed us her athletic skills and kept up with the pace. She was smiling the entire time. After run club, she went and enjoyed a smoothie and had a nice relaxing time hanging out on the patio enjoying the nice day. Molly really is a special girl, capable of doing a variety of things.
Molly’s love for everyone even extends towards other dog friends too. She is very dog friendly and has been in play groups with upwards of 10-15 dogs. She can wrestle or play the chase game, whatever game the dogs fancy at the time. Molly is pretty versatile in her play with other dogs. While she enjoys short bursts of play, she also knows when to take a break and is comfortable correcting overly rough play without escalating it or holding a grudge. However, she doesn’t need the company of other dogs to be happy. She’s confident and content with enough love to take on the role of your one-and-only! For her, that also just means she’ll get more princess treatment. Molly would thrive in a cat-free home as she shows a bit too much interest in feline friends.
Molly is loaded up with all the traits of an amazing, pre-made perfect companion and she is ready to meet her furever family. Whether you're looking for a loyal companion to share quiet evenings, a smart and trainable dog to impress your friends, or a gentle and loving presence for your kids, Molly is the perfect fit. We're confident she'll bring endless joy and love to any home. We are willing to test Molly Ann with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the
perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
