Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This is Jojo! We think she's a wire-haired terrier mix because of her cute, scruffy fur and is approximately 3 years old. She was brought to us from Baja California to live the lavish life of a beloved American pet. While that might seem like the dream, Jojo has had a hard time adjusting to not being a free range dog.
Jojo has come a long way with meeting strangers and has a lot of training under her belt. She knows sit, down and touch to name a few. Jojo does best when new people ignore her and let her come to them, which can be a challenge for dog-lovers. Like most dogs, Jojo isn't a big fan of guests who drop in un-announced and prefers a heads-up.
While Jojo gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, she would rather be the only dog in her new home. Due to her terrier background we don't recommend her living with cats.
Jojo is considered special needs because she will require a very diligent home, where there will me minimal surprises as she does not handle them well.
We would like to see Jojo go to a home who is dedicated to continued, positive reinforcement training so she can be more comfortable in our human society. Jojo comes with a complimentary consultation with local dog trainer Sierra from Aligned Canines.
If you're interested in meeting Jojo, please follow the link below and fill out an application and we'll schedule a meet and greet. Her adoption fee is $350, which includes her spay, microchip and vaccinations.
