Hi there! I’m Donald! 🐾

I’m a charming coon/hound mix, about 3 years old and weighing in at a cozy 35 lbs. You can definitely see the hunting dog in me—I’ve got that adventurous spirit! I came in as a stray, so my backstory is a bit of a mystery, but I’m ready to create new memories with a loving family.

When I first arrived, I was pretty scared and timid. But guess what? I’ve been paired up with some furry friends, and they’ve really helped me come out of my shell! I love having a buddy to hang out with—it makes me feel safe and happy.

I’ll be honest, I might be a little shy around new people at first, but I promise I’m a sweetheart at heart. With some patience and love, I know I’ll warm up and show you just how special I can be.

It is dedicated to the elimination of cruelty, abuse, neglect and abandonment of domestic companion animals. It provides a safe haven to the unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless animals of Henderson County. It works to adopt or place these animals once they are spayed, neutered.
