This is Trippel! A stunning, handsome, happy, regal, friendly, tall drink of water. He weighs in at 132 lbs, all muscle and charm. Trippel was born in October of 2020 so he’s a little over 3 ½ now. He has a sleek black coat and loves to be brushed. You can take this boy anywhere out in public and he is the best behaved boy ever!

Trippel travels well in an SUV, is housebroken and crate trained. He loves, loves, loves people of all ages. But due to his size and exuberance, we will not adopt him to a home with children under the age of 10. He lived with a cat previously and is very dog friendly. He would do well as an only dog but also would do well with other dog friendly dogs. We are requiring an above ground, fully fenced in yard.

He loves going on walks and does very well on a gentle leader. Trippel is very food motivated and will take food off counters. His adoptive family must be ok making sure all food is put away securely. He’s a smart boy and knows when things are left out and assumes they were left out for him. Trippel has a very loud bark and when inside the home, he will let you know when someone is there. He’s an incredible boy that will follow you around, sleep at your feet on a dog bed or on the couch next to you. He’d love to sleep in bed with you but is also happy on a dog bed next to your bed.

Local adoptions only. We do not adopt out of the state of Illinois. Trippel is being fostered in a private home. Appointments to meet him will be set up for approved adopters only. His adoption fee is $400 which includes all age appropriate vaccines. He is neutered, microchipped and Heartworm negative. He has also been kept on both flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
