Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Max!
Max is one of the seven puppies that were rescued from the streets of Jackson County. We estimate that he is between 11 and 13 weeks old. He is nearly fully housebroken and crate trained. Max can sit and we are also training him to leave things. He gets along well with other dogs and has seen cats, but hasn't had much exposure to them. He has beautiful eyes! One is light greenish in color, and the other is greenish-brown. Max loves to snuggle and is as sweet as can be!
Please be aware that we receive a high volume of applications and appreciate your patience as we process them. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. To complete the adoption process, you will need to fill out an application, participate in a pet meet-and-greet, undergo a home visit, and have a strong veterinary/animal care history. The adoptive family will also need to ensure that Max receives his puppy shots and provide proof of spaying/neutering if it has not been done before adoption.
Raising a puppy demands a significant amount of time and commitment. Please ensure that your schedule can accommodate a puppy, as it will be a cherished member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years.
For further information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application at http://www.mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application.html.
