Jax is 4yo, weighs 45lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, but is not microchipped.  Jax's guardian adds:

"He is a very quiet dog, he never barks except to go out to use the bathroom. He is very friendly, playful, loves to be pet, and belly rubs, he is moderately active, and sometimes a couch potato.   He was crate trained for one year, and now has free range of the home.  He will still use a crate if needed to.  He is a very good listener.   Jax knows sit, stay, come, heal, lay down.  J ax does not like yelling, he will go hide.   During the day Jax is very quiet and lazy while we are at work.  Jax is home alone M-F for 8 hours.  He has free range of the home while we are at work and has excellent behavior, has never chewed anything.   Jax sleeps on his dog bed in the basement area.   Jax loves car rides, and to go out."

Jax's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him:  "We are surrendering Jax because we purchased a home in Delaware and the development doesn't allow our dog due to he is mixed with terrier."

Jax's guardian states the following regarding children:  Jax hasn't lived with children, but he's been around all ages from newborn through adulthood.  His guardian recommends his living with children because he gets very excited whe he sees children and loves to play with them.

Jax's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Jax hasn't lived with other dogs, so his guardian doesn't know how he would get along with other dogs.

Jax's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Jax hasn't lived with cats, so his guardian doesn't know how he would get along with cats.

Jax's guardian describes him as:

Quiet
Playful
Moderately active
Couch potato
Very affectionate
Independent
Always likes to be by your side
Leash-trained
House-trained
Crate-trained
Indoor pet
Loves men and women
Especially loves children

Jax's guardian describes his ideal future home:  "The ideal home for Jax would be a family, or anyone who would pay him attention and love him.  Jax is a people person dog and loves everyone."

More about this rescue

Rescue Well was founded by Christine Sandberg in Baltimore, Maryland in 2011. Since its launch, it’s grown from offering post-adoption support to the city shelter, to offering several programs across Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. Our Programs focus on improving the lives of both pets and its owners. We proudly serve without judgment or expectations and we strictly follow our Rescue Well Engagement Model: ENGAGE > EDUCATE > EMPOWER.

Our organization’s programs are run by volunteers who are actively engaged in front-line intervention, community support, shelter support, and re-homing services for all pets.
