Hello there! My name is Target and I am happy you are here. I am about two years old and was rescued by SCGPR in April of 2023. When I was young, I had a family of my own, but one day they put me in box and left me in front of a store called Target. I thought for sure they would come back to get me, but they never did. I was very sad.
I was really hot, hungry and thirsty inside the box and was even more scared when someone came along and picked up the box with me inside! But soon I realized the human who picked me up was kind. The nice lady took me inside her house and put me into the biggest and cleanest Guinea pig home I had ever seen! I immediately zoomed into a huge pile of hay! Soon I learned that this nice lady was my SCGPR foster mom. She talked to me everyday and kept telling me that my name was Target.
My foster mom told me she would find me a friend so that I’d have someone to keep me company. I was so excited! The day my friend finally arrived in December 2023, was my happiest day ever. My new friend was only six weeks old and now it was my job to teach him how to be the best guinea pig ever! My friend is called Bullseye as he has a circle around his eye.
Bullseye and I can’t wait to have a home to call our own. Maybe that home will be with you?
Target and Bullseye are currently in a foster home with children and are well adapted to a busy and dynamic household.
All of our piggies are fostered in LA, OC and Ventura Counties so please message us if you would like to meet any of them.
