My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola needs a foster home!

Lola is the perfect furry friend for a female-only adult home! Lola's a bit shy around men but thrives in a girl-power environment. She absolutely adores long walks and is super motivated by treats. Plus, she's got a killer attention span for learning new tricks, playing games, and having tons of fun!

Lola gets along with other dogs, especially male dogs that are friendly and laid-back. However, Lola can get a little too excited sometimes, so she’d do best with just one doggy companion or as the solo star of the show.  She would be happy either way!

This smart cookie is crate trained and totally cool being left alone for a bit. Lola would absolutely love a foster who’s down for walks and cuddles. If you're ready for lots of doggy love, Lola's your girl!

Lola came to us pregnant and from a difficult situation in January and we have been getting to know her more since she finished raising her puppies and they were adopted. She has been through a lot so she is a bit of a nervous babe, so she’s been staying at Speak Dog for training to learn to be more confident and trusting. She is doing amazing and is ready to move to a foster home! We are looking for a foster home in the greater Seattle area or in the Tri Cities area.

When you foster for Forgotten Dogs, we supply all food, equipment, training support and vet care.  If you are interested in helping Lola, send an email to foster@forgottendogsrescue.com or fill out a foster application at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/foster-application

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
