My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dorie is a cute 2.5 year old female pup with a lot of love to give. She is very affectionate and smart, and she is eager to find her forever home. Dorie is a bit shy when she first meets new people, but she warms up to them quickly. She's very curious about the world around her and is always exploring and sniffing around. This girl seems very intelligent and independent, and is eager to love and be loved.

More about this rescue

Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
