Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEAU and MAMACITA are a marvelous mother and son bonded pair of kitties looking for a loving home. Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, while Beau is white with orange tabby spots (a cow kitty). They are fond of Churu treats and adore a front row seat for Cat TV (aka, a window to look out of). Beau also loves little toys that he can throw around and chase. Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter. All her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Mamacita and Beau are both still shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home and get their bearings. Both are very sweet, and it will be so worthwhile to give them some time to adjust to their surroundings. They will reward you in spades with their sweet faces and affection!

Mamacita and Beau have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
