Hi! My name is Charlie. I am a female Charlie because I am so unique. When All About Paws Rescue found me, I was underweight, dehydrated, and my mouth was so infected that it had spread to my lip. They didn’t hesitate scooping me up and getting me the care I needed. That is when my new life began. I am 5 pounds of Chihuahua Spice!!! The vet said I am about 7 years old. I live in my foster home with 6 other dogs and 4 cats. They know that I rule! I like to wear my dresses or pajamas. I don’t mind any of my other animal siblings, but I can be a drama queen when they touch me because I am a delicate flower (when I need to be). I no longer have teeth so my foster mommy feeds me wet food. I am potty trained to a puppy pad, but when we go outside I take advantage of the grass to potty. Since I am so small AAP thinks I might be better in a home without really small children because they might squeeze me too hard. I like to bark when my fur-siblings bark. I like to sleep under blankets. I haven’t been taught to walk on a leash because who wouldn’t want to carry me? I love my human. My past didn’t make my heart any smaller. I do get nervous when I meet new people so I do the chihuahua shake until I get used to you. My foster mommy said that my new mommy and/or daddy has to be very special to get me because I am going to give them a lifetime of love. Charlie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and had a complete blood panel, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, had a dental, and microchipped.
