For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Between October 1st and 15th my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for only $25! Please apply online to start the adoption process-- I can't wait to meet you!
Meet the Cat-Fish kittens! Trout, Snapper, Piranha, Barracuda, and Mackerel are 5 months old and weight about 2.5-3 pounds each. These girls are the life of the party and love to run, romp, chase, and play with toys! When they finally tucker themselves out, they love to snuggle up in a bed together and take a quick snooze before jumping back into the fun! They also love people and will happily seek out pets and attention, especially if you smell of treats and goodies!
They are litterbox trained and they are fostered with other cats and small dogs. They have done great with the furry friends in their foster home and will benefit from having another rambunctious feline friend in their forever homes! They might have too much zest for a cat who is on the calmer side.
If you are looking for a playful and entertaining kitten (or two) to add a splash to your forever family, look no further! These girls are fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area.
Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social cats. They are very social by nature and need to be with other cats for their socialization.
The adoption fee for a single kitten is $75.00, a pair of kittens is $110.00.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, combo tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
