Meet Perla 6381, a sweet and loving dog ready to find her forever home! At 6-8 years old and 60 lbs, Perla has quickly bonded with her foster family, showcasing her gentle and obedient nature. She’s crate trained, fully potty trained, and does well alone for a few hours. Perla loves car rides and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can sniff around and play. She enjoys lounging around the house and has bursts of playful energy throughout the day. Perla adores toys and knows basic commands. She prefers to be the only pet, soaking up all the attention and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-behaved companion, Perla is the perfect match. Additional adoption info

An applicant first submits an application form with a non-refundable $10.00 (cash or check only) processing fee. VGSR reviews the application, then schedules an interview and home visit during which a number of questions are asked and the home is reviewed to be sure there is a contained/safe yard, and to meet the family involved. Once the application is approved, the applicant is asked to submit a $250.00 (cash or check ONLY) minimum adoption donation to VGSR to help defray the costs of getting the dog fully vetted and ready to be adopted, and the adoption is completed.

More about this rescue

We provide a valuable service by finding good homes for the German Shepherd Dogs in our care. In the seven plus years that we have been in existence, we have found homes for over 2,400 deserving dogs. We are currently enlisting active volunteers to help with the task of placing some really wonderful, but homeless, German Shepherd Dogs. Our goal is to place all GSDs that are accepted into our Rescue in loving homes in which the GSD and the family will thrive together.
