My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are presenting Noodles, a 1 1/2 year old terrier mix looking for her furever home. Noodles is a friendly and playful girl, she goes crazy for squeaky toys! She’s a social butterfly that seems to love everyone she meets! Noodles is extremely friendly, but she doesn’t seem to realize her size so she would do best in a home with no small children to accidentally knock over. She’s done well with other dogs in the past but we always recommend a meet and greet with any other dogs in the household. Noodles is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society is a non-profit organization serving the human and animal population of of Stark County for over 100 years. Besides providing a safe haven for the unwanted dogs and cats in our community, we find new and loving homes for them as well. We also conduct humane education programs in all our schools K-12. We take our pets to area nursing homes to visit the elderly. Sometimes this is the only time some of the residnets get a visit. Over the years we have been named Employer of the Year by Goodwill Industries for hiring the physical and mentally challenged. We perform these tasks with no governmental funding whatsoever. We raise our budget throught Bequests, fundraisers, membership and donations.
