Hello, I'm Camo! Do you love a brindle? I'm your gal! I'm a young, sweet girl who grew up in foster care alongside my brothers, Lance and Tiny Diamond, who are also available for adoption. We have lots of fun, but now I'm ready for my forever home. Our Momma was a Pittie mix, but we don't know much about Daddy, but people have commented that they think there might be some Shepherd & Hound in our mix. Regardless of my breed mix, I have a lot of love to give. I'm eager to meet my new family and start making memories together. Adopting me will not only change my life, but I promise to bring joy, companionship, and unconditional love to yours too. Could that be you? Adopt-A-Pet Events in the Kansas City Area

Cat adoptions are held at the PetSmart at 115th and Metcalf in Overland Park KS every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Cats available for adoption every day at PetSmart in-store cage area.

Dog adoptions are held at the PetSmart in Olathe KS at 119th and Strang Line, every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00.

Dog adoptions are held at the PetSmart in Lee's Summit MO at 920 NE Sam Walton Lane, also every Saturday from 12:00 and 3:00.

The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.

Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.

Background
Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs).
