We all understand joy as a concept, feeling, or goal. But do you want to actually see joy? Touch it? Hug it? Then you need to meet Yoyo. Yoyo is gleeful, unbridled happiness - pure joy in a gorgeous, fuzzy package! We'll admit, the energy is strong with this one! I haven't actually seen "Everything Everywhere All at Once"... that movie's about Yoyo, right? But, once he's said hello to every dimension of the yard or room, Yoyo just wants to be by your side, giving surprisingly gentle hugs and getting pats and scratches. Too busy to snuggle? No problem! Yoyo will happily amuse himself with ANY toy (or interesting non-toy-item) you toss his way! Yoyo is as loving as he is joyful -- EVERYONE is a best friend, every dog is a playmate. He is such a bright light -- we need to get him into a home where he can really shine! Yoyo was transferred to us from an overcrowded rural shelter. He's beyond grateful for the opportunity to find a family. Please SHARE THIS POST and help make his dream come true. Yoyo is heartworm-positive, but Animal Aid will cover all treatment expenses, even after you bring him home. Recently, Animal Aid pups Bandit, Iris, Tony, Pippa and Betty White went home heartworm-positive -- we're thrilled to report that they're ALL heartworm-free and thriving!! Now it's Yoyo's turn. Animal Aid is open to visitors every day (including weekends and holidays) from 9am to noon. We're located at 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA, 23666. No appointment necessary. Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!
PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

Additional adoption info
If all goes well and you decide to pursue adoption, you will be asked to complete a pre-adopt. Once your family, including any dogs, have also met with the dog you wish to adopt, your application will be submitted to the Adoption Committee for review. We estimate the pre-adoption process can take up to 14 days or longer.
Please note: AAS is committed to finding the best fit for each of our dogs. For this reason, we will accept multiple applications for a dog. In the case of multiple applications, we will select the applicant that is the best fit based on the needs of the dog.
