My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

See how shiny Big Jim’s coat is? Very demure. Very cutesy. He always shows up looking his best. Very mindful.

Big Jim has a big heart. He loves people and toys. He will proudly show off his latest toy to anyone who would like to play with him. Once upon a time, Big Jim was a dream to walk but has picked up a few bad habits lately. We know that this stunning king will quickly get back to his best self with a little patience and training.

Big Jim would probably do best as the only dog in the house, where he can enjoy all the attention and love he deserves. If you’re ready to give this charming pup a little extra TLC, he’s ready to return it tenfold!

Words from an HHS Volunteer who fostered him:

`We thoroughly enjoyed having Big Jim in our home. I knew he was stressed at the shelter and a change of scenery was needed. The transformation was amazing. He is a fun loving puppy who adores toys both playing with an adult or by himself. Walking and sniffing are as important to him as his toys, and he walks well on a leash. He alerts with a fixed stare at the surrounding animals but responds well to `No` and does not engage. He sleeps well at night in a closed room and is completely housebroken. Big Jim loves to cuddle and get back/belly rubs, and will say thank you with a kiss if allowed. And he is a fantastic car rider. He needs to be in a home so he can share his big heart with a family.`
