Rio- A curious cutie-pie kitten with adorable white mittens!

Rio is a super player(with humans, his siblings and with wand toys, tennis balls as big as he is, and even balled up paper!). He is a social butterfly who loves humans, cats and dogs equally! In fact, he often follows his foster mom around the house, keeping her company and soaking up all the attention. He ALWAYS wants to be 'where the action is' and doesn't want to miss a single moment of F-U-N! When he's ready to rest after a long play session, he enjoys basking in the sun, getting his fair share of pets and attention and even cuddling with his brother Tokyo and sister, Hilo or one of his human friends.

Rio should do well in a family of adults only or one with older children. As a young kitten, he'll need another kitten or young cat to play and go on adventures with, preferably with his sister Hilo, brother Tokyo or both! They all get along great together! If that's not possble, then there needs to be a furry friend at home and a slow, gentle introduction. He's also been exposed to dogs, so additionally he could have a cat-friendly doggy friend after a thoughtful introduction. Rio has an incredible ability to get along with everyone, regardless of species. He is a true peacekeeper and his friendly nature makes him a perfect companion for any household.

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
