My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pete, the ultimate lover boy at Kalamazoo Animal Rescue! This charming feline is a social butterfly who gets along effortlessly with everyone and everything. From kids to cats to dogs, Pete has a heart as big as his appetite for making new friends. Despite his friendly nature, Pete found himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own, but he's ready to find his forever home and shower them with love and affection.

Pete does have a food allergy, but he is thriving on a special diet of Royal Canin PR. His ideal home would be with another cat who shares his food preferences or with a pet parent who is vigilant about keeping Pete away from other food sources. This lovable kitty has a tendency to sneak some dog food as well, so a watchful eye is key in keeping Pete happy and healthy.

If you're looking for a sweet and sociable companion who will never tire of cuddles and playtime, Pete is the perfect match for you. Swing by Kalamazoo Animal Rescue to meet Pete and see why he's the super lover boy you've been searching for!

His foster parents are Emily H.   The adoption fee for Pete is $70. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted.

Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Pete. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible.

All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.

Go to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue website to see the rest of our adoptable cats & kittens.
