Levy loves him some lap time! When he is up on the lap he is purring and head butting me. He prefers laps rather than being held. He will come in my room at night, purring and wanting all sorts of attention. He is shy at first meeting but does warm up when he gets to know you. You will have let him take his time. Levy and Tax are ready for their next adventure and a new family.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.

The $125 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
