Amber is a sweet lab mix who came to us after being found as a stray with her 2 siblings. Her estimated DOB is 11/22/23, and on 9/14/2024 she weighed in at 34 pounds. Due to the stress of the kennel environment, Amber may come across as shy at first, however she will warm up. Once you gain her trust, you'll have a best friend for life! You'll immediately see just how much she wants to be loved. She's not a huge fan of toys but doggy jerky is a quick cheat code to gaining her trust. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
