My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet special needs, 8 year old Cookie. She is mostly deaf and has chronic cystitis that is under control. Her mommy passed away in October, 2023, and Cookie is still being cared for daily in her home but this cannot continue. The house is being sold. We are looking for a permanent home or foster for her.

Cookie is the sweetest little kitty. She has cystitis that is under control with food and medicine that we will be happy to provide for the rest of her life!

Cookie lived in a home with many cats, which was the trigger for her cystitis. When her mom passed away, she didn't even make any eye contact so we did not realize at first she was mostly deaf. She is a different kitty now. She comes right away for love and attention and just adores being petted and kissed on her head.

Cookie needs to be an only cat as she will do best this way. We need a special, patient person with no other cats,  who will give Cookie the time she needs to adjust to a new home. She loves laying in the sun and playing with her toys. Cookie needs a person to love and be loved by.  Please give cookie the chance she deserves!

More about this rescue

Catopia’s mission is to save the lives of as many abandoned, injured, neglected and/or otherwise unwanted cats and kittens we possibly can. All cats and kittens are fully vetted, fed healthy diets and accommodated in a 100% foster care environment until they each find loving forever homes. We additionally help with the feral cat population through our TNR (trap, neuter, return) program and the rescue and rehabilitation of feral born kittens. Thus, allowing kittens to be adopted into loving families and ending a vicious cycle.
