Little Georgia! 🎉

Who needs happy hour on a Friday night when you can go to the shelter and rescue dogs! That’s our idea of a fun night!!! She is from AHS-Newark Branch. Little Miss Georgia in honor of our founder’s Georgia who passed away this week. We were only able to pull one dog but this little cutie walked past us and our hearts sunk. We had to find a way to take her home. Her skin is a hot mess and she cowers to the ground. We have her temporarily with one of our volunteers while we look for something more permanent. She is about 3-4 years old and was found tied up outside the shelter. Her face was all bloody probably trying to free herself. She has severe hair loss and quite a few punctures on her. She looks like she’s had a litter or two. She tested well with male dogs.

She will see our vet to get wellness exams and little Georgia will need to be spayed.
