Welcome Festo.

Who needs happy hour on a Friday night when you can go to the shelter and rescue dogs! That’s our idea of a fun night!!! He is from AHS-Newark Branch. First up is Festo! This handsome boy had his one year anniversary on 7/11 at the shelter. What a way to celebrate by getting out! He’s a senior guy who is a mushy meatball which is just the way we like them! He’s all butt scratches and belly rubs. He is around 8-9 years old but definitely doesn’t act like it. Festo has a young energy and doesn’t act like an older guy. He does cute little head tilts while he is waiting for his treat which he takes nice and gentle. Festo loved his freedom ride and his warm bath. He’s tucked into boarding and will spending time with our volunteers while we are on the hunt for a foster or forever home. Older kids would be best. He tested well with female dog but must be the right match for him.

He will see our vet to get a wellness exam.
