Meet our adorable and playful boy named Bronx! He is about 1.5 years old and he is a very friendly guy! Bronx came to us after his owner ran in to some trouble and he could no longer have Bronx. He is a super happy and outgoing dog who absolutely loves people! Bronx is a Retriever at heart and he loves to play fetch! He will chase after tennis balls and bring them right back to you for more games. Bronx is a sporty, young dog who would love to have an active family to do activities with. He is a smart boy who is very food motivated and willing to learn. He loves back/butt scratches and will stretch out in the shade when he gets hot. He can be a bit jumpy and mouthy at first, as is any young dog, but he takes correction well. Bronx would love to find his forever home! Bronx is fine with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 12 years old and older.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
