Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is just a big, chunky guy with a big, chunky heart. He's a very chill cat, as he mostly likes to just hang out around with people. Especially if there are papers he can sleep on. He also loves kisses and belly rubs from anyone! He was cautious of other cats at first, but will do fine with a slow introduction. He now lives in a colony room and has done very well with all of the cats!

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
