Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our Dylan is back on the market after being adopted & returned due to a family member’s allergies. (Contrary to popular belief, poodles are not hypoallergenic- there is NO such thing as a hypoallergenic dog!)
Hi everybody my name is Dylan. I’m a 14 lb. Cockapoo that’s about 1 year old. I was recently returned back into foster care due to no fault of my own. Those darn allergies. I’m a very happy sweet boy who’s very food motivated. It does help when training. I will admit my leash skills are not the best. I love to get outside and GO!! This is where a little training may be good.
Pretty good about going outside to do my business, it is a good idea if I go outside first thing in the morning to relieve my little bladder. I need a little work on my socialization as I can be a bit on the shy side at first. As far as kids, I haven’t really been around them at all, but a slow introduction around new people including children is probably best. I am crate trained, but at night I currently snuggle up next to my foster mom in the big person bed.
I get along very well with other dogs. I’m a little guy so a small dog secured fence is probably best I do occasionally like to do my zoomies in the yard as well. With my longer hair I will probably need to be groomed on a regular basis.
I’d say I’m a mellow little munchkin who loves other dogs, toys and food. If you have the time and patience for a puppy, I certainly think I’d make a great addition to any family. I have been vet checked, neutered, micro chipped, heart worm tested negative, am up to date on routine shots including rabies and have been treated with flea & heart worm preventative. So I am ready to go to my forever loving home.
My adoption fee is $495.
You do need to submit an adoption application before a meeting can be scheduled to meet me in person. The application serves as a basis for conversation.
If you believe this wonderful little guy is for you, then go to heathersfosterdogs.org to complete and submit your application. Using the menu at the top of the page, click on “Adoption Application.” Submit your completed application & you will be contacted.
