Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gretel is one of two huskies that were dumped in a well-known dumping ground. She is older than the other husky (male) so I'm assuming that she is his mother, but I can't be certain. Even though they were found together, she tends to get annoyed with his high strung, puppy like temperament, so I think it will be a lot better for her to be adopted without him. She's extremely chill and lazy. Content to lay on the couch and slowly eat kibbles and treats like the little queen she is. Being short and stumpy doesn't stop her positively sassy personality to shine through, in fact, her wiggly butt and prissy walk makes it more prominent. She loves to be by your side (especially when on a couch) and will give kisses when requested. She doesn't really react to other dogs when they're around her, but she does prefer her space to be uninterrupted. Her only downfall is that she will guard her food (which is completely understandable, and because she's such a slow eater, we'll usually put her bowl next to her on the couch and keep the other dogs away while she takes her time). She is also a little collar reactive, as in, when you tug on her collar, she will sometimes growl. This is more her being stubborn and not wanting to go where you want her to go. In short, she's just a really great girl. Quiet, loving, happy, lazy yet playful when she feels like it. She'd be a really great companion for someone that's in the market for an absolutely amazing, prissy, slightly stubborn princess that will make you smile every time you look at her!
She's potty trained, kennel trained, UTD on shots, spayed. I'm not entirely sure how she is around cats or children, but I can't really see her being too bothered about either. Really little children, especially if they're rambunctious, might annoy her a little because she does like her quiet, relaxed time.
