My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoe and Warby
Zoe: Domestic Shorthair, Born in April 2024, Black & White, Female
Warby: Domestic Shorthair, Born in April, Black, Female
Pssst ~ hi, it’s me, Zoe!  I’m whispering because I’m a very timid little girl and I didn’t want to call too much attention to myself.  Believe it or not, I’m in charge of finding a purrfect and furever home for me and my sister, Warby.  We’re living in a super foster home with our birth mom and three brothers right now, but these boys are getting way too big and boisterous, and it’s time for us girls to have our own space.  Our brothers like to spend their time wrestling and roughhousing but Warby and I are into all things girly ~ like having tea paw-ties with our favorite stuffed toys!

Together, we dream about the day we find a patient, loving family who understands our gentle hearts and can offer us the comfort and security we crave.  In return, we promise the joy of watching us grow into the confident felines we are meant to be.  So, if you are ready to open your heart and home to a pair of sweet (and petite!) sisters who adore each other and are looking for their fairy-tale ending, we’d love to meet you so that we can create our happily ever after together!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
