My name is River!

Adopt River! This 5ish-year-old guy wants nothing more than to be snuggled by his people and give hugs. He has the best smile and is an absolutely delightful companion and the best work-from-home buddy. River will snooze at your feet during meetings, waking up occasionally to place his paw on your leg to check in. He is super quiet in the house and requires only a couple short walks a day. River loves to chew on bones and squeaky toys, sun himself in the backyard, and watch the world outside the front window. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs, but is not super playful with them. River is shy but friendly with people outside the house, but he isn't a big fan of new people inside his home. So if you're a bit of an introvert, too, and prefer to do your socializing outside the house, then River is the pup for you! And the good news is that he's perfectly happy to hang out quietly in his crate on the occasions you do have company.
