Cheerful Carmelo is a gentle and friendly boy who will bring boundless joy to your life. This cuddle king loves attention and shows off his happy demeanour with adorable jumps that will fill your heart with warmth and joy!

Carmelo does well with adults and other dogs. He has yet to interact with kids or cats. With proper introductions, he should do well in a home with smaller family members!

Carmelo will need a furever family who is willing to show him the ropes of living in a home environment. His family will need to teach him all the basics!

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
