This helps Buffalo Underdogs Rescue Inc with pet care costs.
Hi there! My name is Frankie, and it’s so nice to meet you! I’m a 7-month old very good boy, and I came all the way to Buffalo from Texas to find my perfect family. I’m most definitely a hound-mix, possibly with some Black-Mouth Curr or Rhodesian Ridgeback mixed in.
I have really long legs that I’m still trying to get used to – they make me all sorts of floppy and a little clumsy too. I fall off the couch sometimes when I stretch too far and flip-flop over myself when I’m running around with my foster brother. I love to tug on and chew on toys with him, and we love running around the yard chasing each other and wrestling. I’m always doing things that have my foster pawrents laughing!
I’m pretty much potty trained too! I might have an accident here or there, but it’s usually because my foster pawrents weren’t paying attention to my cues. When I go potty outside, I’ll run right back in when I’m done to get some treats – my favorite thing! I do ok in my crate, but I would much rather be cuddled up next to my people on the couch – I love taking naps there with my foster siblings during the day. If I do have to go in my crate, I like to sing the song of my people, so I might not be the best apartment dog.
So far, I’ve met kids and adults and I’ve liked all of them. I can still be a little skittish around new people, but you can quickly get me to love you with a handful of treats. I’ve met a cat or two briefly but would want to go slow with any new cats to make sure we can all get along.
If you think that I’m the one for you, head on over to www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt to fill out an application! I’d love to meet you

Meet the Pet
