Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finnegan was taken away from his mom at a very young age and given to a very nice lady. Even though she loved him, they didn’t have a home, so the two of them traveled by bicycle and Finn spent most of his time in a backpack. She asked us to help and we quickly discovered he had contracted parvovirus but miraculously, he survived !
This is a beautiful puppy, with a blue coat and a touch of brindle, his eyes are blue, but not crystal blue. He currently (June 12) weighs 11 lbs.
Finnegan is your typical tail-wagging puppy. He’s super sweet, loves other dogs, and is super smart. With the right owner and all of these qualities the sky’s the limit to what he can become.
For now, this is a puppy who needs to be taught good manners, but he can learn really fast: I taught him to sit to get a treat... and now he sits all the time on his own to indicate he is hungry!
He would currently probably be too active to have a young child around, but he will calm down! Like all puppies, he needs to be occupied with toys or activities, otherwise he may chew on the furniture a little... just a little!
He is not completely house trained... but getting close!
He snores... very loudly, and barks at my cats to play with them. He also wants to play with the 8 year-old family dog... but neither the cats nor the dog show any desire to play with him.
This beautiful, active, little dog is waiting for a new home, and will make a great companion dog!

Additional adoption info
As a Trap-Neuter-Return group, we cannot process cats for intake to a shelter setting. The cats and kittens we offer for adoption are the result of rescue during "TNR" wherein they were caught in a humane trap for spay or neuter. Friendly cats and kittens young enough to be socialized are put into the adoption system when we determine that they would be safer as household pets. Healthy feral (wild) cats are returned to the trap site to rejoin their colony under the lifelong care of dedicated volunteers.
It is Wild Cat Foundation's policy that all cats and kittens, without exception, be altered prior to adoption. In addition, all prospects have been tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and are current on all vaccinations and treatment for parasites.
It is our policy to require an adoption application and interview of all prospective adoptive families. We reserve the right to deny an application for any reason.
Our goal is to make sure everyone is happy! Once an adoption takes place, a Wild Cat Foundation volunteer may follow up within one or two weeks--to check on the progress of the pet and to learn how he is adjusting to his new home. Also, we are glad to hear from our new pet parents at any time, especially if there are any problems or concerns.
