Sonny is one of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with Cher.

Sonny is 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs.

The adoption fee for BOTH DOGS is $800.00 total.

This charming little gentleman was surrendered with his sister about two months ago when their loving family could no longer keep them. Sonny settled in almost immediately and is always ready for pets, snuggles, and attention. He's very protective of his sister and must always know where she is. Sonny enjoys curling up next to you on the couch, in his bed, or in a corner in the same room as you.

He is mostly potty-trained, with the only accidents being near misses on the puppy pad, and he goes out on the same schedule as his sister. We solved his tendency to mark his territory, and it has basically stopped now that his neuter is complete. The biggest takeaway is that Sonny is a very, very well-behaved and loving boy. He sits for treats, is very good with guests, and shares well with his sister. Sometimes, he shares too well, and you need to make sure he gets his fair share!

Sonny is also good at bedtime. He typically wants to be with you but often takes turns sleeping snuggled nearby and in his own bed. He has mostly shown interest in soft toys that crinkle but is playing with toys more often, especially keep-away with his sister. Sonny is not interested in fetch, so if you're playing fetch with his sister, he'll come to sit on your lap for cuddles or watch from his corner.

He walks well on a leash and moves like a man on a mission. There's little time to stop and sniff! This little guy has places to be. If you are walking him with Cher, he is very protective of her around other dogs, so we make sure to cross the street because once they are on the other side of the street, he does not pay attention to them. When walking without Cher, he is a little more relaxed but tends to keep to himself.

Sonny is ready to find a forever home with his sister. Sonny and Cher will thrive in a home where they are the only pets, can sniff around the backyard, can go on brisk walks often, and have their humans around them as much as possible.

Sonny and Cher are staying with Jenna in Buffalo, NY.
