My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

John Craig

This handsome DSH all black kitten is approximately 4 month old, born May 13th, 2024. He is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered when he is old enough. So until he receives the surgery, he will be Foster-to-Adopt.

John Craig, aka JC is a very quiet boy, he loves to play and wrestle with his brother and sister but more often than not is snuggled up taking a nap (in the strangest positions). JC takes a little longer to warm up to new things and is a little more shy. He enjoys being brushed and pets but doesn’t love to be picked up and carried around, which is totally fair for such a little baby.

If you are interested in adopting this snuggle bug, please visit our website at www.muskokaanimalrescue.com and complete an application form.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
