Meet Princess!

This sweet sad face is a docil and gentle soul who is a little scare and shy on new situations but in the home where she knows her environment and people she is a very loving social pupper. Princess loves her humans and befriends dogs easier than new people. Princess loves dogs and is a submissive personality. She is ok with children especially those she knows. She can be a little uncomfortable/scared of new kids who are fast and loud  whom she has never met before.

Volunteers who have helped with Princess at events mention she can show a bit nervous at first but slowly warms up. She will stay pressed around their legs for comfort and can get startled easily with fast movements but with time she gets comfortable with her environment as you can see on videos. She has not lived with children but she enjoyed them petting her when they approached gently. We have not cat tested princess but we believe she likely would do well as she would be scared of them, we are happy to cat test if requested or inquire about our foster to adopt trials if you'd like to make sure she is the right match for your family.

Princess is crate trained  who enjoys playing with other dogs and receiving pets from her foster family. Currently fostered with 3 adult humans and a couple young male dogs a male and female about the same size of her. Benji and Almond are her best friends and like her also fostered in the same home and looking for a forever home. She is crate trained and being a young dog we would not recommend a home who needs to leave her home alone for long stints in the day. It would be great if her future adopter plan on enrolling in dog training to help build her confidence, she aims to please her humans and seeks their approval.

Princess has an athletic svelt look to her and is just a beautiful little dog already full grown in the mid 30 pounds. If you'd like to adopt or foster this sweetheart please submit an aplication online at arwob.org

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
