Hello!

My name is Kali, like California, and I am looking for my forever family. As my name entails, I am a true California girl- I love cruising in the car, and playing around in the sun.

I am currently with a foster family who took me and my 7 puppies in from the shelter as we were at risk of being euthanized! Luckily, our fosters stepped up and have been taking great care of us while we each find our forever homes.

Besides being a mom, I am a 6 year old girl who is ready to be loved and settle into a family as I have been through quite a lot in recent months. I am eager to meet my new humans so that we can play and go for drives as I am quite the passenger princess

Submit Application

Submit an online application on our website and someone from our team will respond to you within 3 days.

2.
Home Check

We will speak with you to ensure the pet you are interested in is the best match! Then, we will schedule your virtual home check.

3.
Approve Application

Your application will be approved if everything checks and then you will be in our system as an approved adopter.

4.
Meet the Pet

We will arrange for you to meet the pet and foster family. All resident dogs must also be part of the meet and greet.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If all goes well and you want to adopt you will sign our adoption contract that we email to you.

6.
Pay Fee

You will then pay the adoption fee to us through Venmo or Paypal.

7.
Take the Pet Home

Congratulations! You can then take your new furry friend home!

Additional adoption info

Our application process is a no-obligation application. So even if you are not sure about a pet that you applied for, you can stay in our system as an approved adopter - unless you change home residences then you will need to re-apply.

Our lovable dogs are currently residing in various foster homes throughout San Diego. To arrange a meet-and-greet with any of our adoptable pets, please visit our website at Passion for Pitties to fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we will coordinate with you to schedule a visit with the dog of your choice.

As a dedicated non-profit 501(c)(3) foster-based pitbull rescue, our mission is to save bully breeds/pit bulls from shelters and find them loving homes. Pitbulls are incredibly social dogs that thrive on being included in family activities and maintaining their social interactions.
