Woof! My name is Girly-Girl, and I am a beautiful young lady, well, my foster mom says I am. She says I am such a sweet girl, what do you think? After waking in the morning, before breakfast, I love a quick trip to the backyard to make sure all is well. I return to my kennel for a leisurely breakfast before my dog day of fun begins. Then I am outside to play chase, tag, and tug-of-war with chew toys and chew ropes with my litter mate and foster sibling, Gunner. We can do this for hours before taking our mid-morning snoozle and afternoon nap. We have rested and are now ready for more fun. After mom gets home, I love to cuddle with her and rest my head in her lap gazing at her with soft eyes, or taking an upside-down nap while she pets my belly. I am hoping to get a treat with my dinner. After dinner in my kennel, I follow my foster mom around the house until bedtime. I return to my kennel for a good night's sleep and dream of my furever home. born, March 5, 2023.

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
