My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Balsam!

Balsam came to us as a stray on April 25th  and has never left.  This 8-year-old kitty knows how she likes her life, her space and her boundaries to be and has her way of telling you “no, I don’t like that”.  Personally, when I spend time with Balsam in the community cat room, I find her to be affectionate and loving.  I don’t know if she has had the best life prior to coming to us as she looks a little rough with the one ear looking pretty crinkly. She has quite the personality to show off.  Balsam has been sponsored so with an approved application; her adoption fee has already been covered by a wonderful person.

If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together!

All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract.  We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice.   Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/
