07/05/24 13:14 Fearful during intake. He was shy with tail tucked and would not walk on a leash. We handled minimally due to his fear 07/17/24 15:47 re-scanned and weighed. Very sweet boy just shy, very affectionate, gentle boy 08/07/24 16:19 out for grooming, very sweet boy. Playful loves toys. I was able to easily lift and wash him. At times he barks at strangers, not aggressive just scared, he was even barking at the dryer. 08/09/24 15:51 Temp tested with a large Dogo. Both did well, no aggression seen. Needs a little work walking on the leash, he`s a little unsure of it but sweet boy. Sniffed at other dog and let the other dog sniff him then both walked away, came back again, sniffed some more and walked away. 08/15/24 15:17 Took out to the yard for pictures. Nice boy. A little scared of the leash. Had to go into his kennel and talked to him for a little, then pets and finally the leash. Once the leash was on, we walked ok. No interest in other dogs. He`s a little fearful but seems to want to be friends. Sits for treats and takes them gently.

An Animal Care Technician will review this form and evaluate the adoption from both yours and the pet’s perspective. If the pet's date of availability has past, the person with an approved application will be able to adopt. If there is more than one person interested and approved on the date and time the pet becomes available, a drawing will take place in order to be fair to all parties involved.
