My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie is an eight year old black Labrador Retriever. This is no couch potato senior dog, Callie is very active and always ready to be with her family and for adventure. She is extremely fit and an excellent walking or jogging companion . She is an expert ball retriever and never fails to return the ball to you. Her interested adopter must have time to spend with her, be physically fit and able to handle a strong and active dog of 65lb. Callie is best as your only dog as she wants to be the boss of the household. Having said that, she had a male companion for 5 years that was happy to be her subordinate and they were best mates. Most recently she was fostered in a household of two male black labs and was a perfect house guest. Callie is Not cat friendly, her intentions towards cats has not been tested, but no cats in household is recommended Callie has excellent obedience training, but likes to test her boundaries to see what she will be allowed to get away with. Callie is completely people and child friendly and seems to have no triggers. She loves belly rubs pets hugs and most of all constant attention. Callie is crate trained and spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, on Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention and has been tested heartworm negative. Callie comes to me because her family member had to go on to home dialysis and the medical personnel ordered her out of the house. The family was forced to rehome her
