My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daniel!
Daniel is a senior guy who unfortunately found himself in a local shelter in NJ. We hate to see a de senior in a shelter so PPAR took him in and he's been with a foster home.
He likes to be close to you but not on top of you. When he’s relaxed he likes to lay down nearby and can sleep most of the day. When he’s active he enjoys a walk and playing a little bit with our golden. He has a good appetite and drinks well. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. We would love to find a loving home for Daniel to live out his senior years.  He is dog friendly but would also do well as an only dog.

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
