My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Health: Satin has CDL (Color delute alopecia) which means she is partially hairless. This does not effect her health. Just makes her even more beautiful and unique! ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****

Temperament: Satin is a little girl who had no idea the world is so big. She was born in a trailer house with a ton of other dogs and only a few people. This is where and how she lived her life for 2 years before coming into our rescue. She is learning to love and be loved. She gets along with other dogs. --

Where did she come from: Came to us as part of a hoarding group

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
