My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Health: Willy has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and has been started on medication for that. He is already starting to feel better and have more energy. He also had a bad ear infection on intake, but has been treated for that.

Temperament: Willy is an absolute sweetheart who loves to follow his person around and curl up in a lap. He gets along well with other dogs and is very friendly with new people. His gentle nature and loving personality make him a great candidate for a family looking for a loyal companion. If you're seeking a loving and devoted furry friend, Willy is ready to steal your heart with his charm.

Where did he come from: He was found as a stray with a microchip. They never came for him.

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
